It was a really lovely and unique place. We had a late check in, but the operator left us a thoughtful letter to welcome us. They are also very nice to upgrade us to a bigger ground level room. It was a very spacious, clean and beautiful room. Every corner of the house was nicely decorated and picture perfect. They even have the floor heating system to keep you warm. The shower room was big and very relaxing to have a warm bath after a long day of travel. The TV allows u to turn to face the bed and enjoy Netflix. Overall, it was wonderful place to have a great rest. The house seems to be a historical building, it was decorated with beautiful artworks the local artists. And when you climb up to the tower top, we can see the beautiful overview of Hobart.

From the moment we entered the gates, we were struck by the elegance and grandeur of the property. Exquisite gardens with water features and meandering paths surround the stately manor house. Upon entering the property, high ceilings and well appointed art pieces with lovely furnishings. The room itself had a large bed, a modern bathroom with a heated floor and a lovely sitting area and large tv. A lovely gas fireplace that added ambience. So many thoughtful details and exceptional gracious staff. The breakfast was delicious, I can not speak highly enough nor can I recommend this property enough.

This is a magnificent property, our flight was cancelled and we arrived late, however everything was exactly where it was described. Entry was easy and the room was breathtaking. Ensuite facilities were so well appointed, plenty of light, plenty of power points, the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was served at the property and was freshly cooked. The coffee was exceptional and the mushrooms and avocados toast was delicious. The staff are exemplary. Quinn was friendly and helpful. We really could have stayed there longer and we will definitely be staying there again

The wheelchair accessible room was big enough and the bathroom was well equipped with space next to the toilet and a strong fold down shower seat. The room was tidied every day and rubbish taken away. The staff was friendly and helpful. Access from the car park to our hotel room was good. It was great to be able to step into the garden from our room. I was in awe of the view every time we drove up to the hotel; a majestic building with Mount Wellington as backdrop.

We chose Maylands Lodge as it was a beautiful old building, with parking in the grounds. The exterior may have been old but the interior was very up to date with everything we needed and more. We even had a view of Mt Wellington. The booking came with breakfast a choice of 5 or 6 dishes, we had two different breakfasts and both were top quality, as was the coffee. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maylands Lodge.
